David teaches Violin and Viola. He leads the Monterey String Quartet, conducts the Monterey Peninsula College Orchestra and plays for many local musical groups.
Arline Arrivée
Director
Arline joined the Monterey branch in 1989. She has served as President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, and a Director. She has taught piano on the Monterey Peninsula for over 50 years.
Michelle Galindo
Vice-President
Michelle Galindo teaches piano, organ, flute, double bass & music theory and is a past president of MTAC Monterey. She holds a Masters degree in Music Technology and is the co-author of Music Theory AppMap, a technology curriculum for music teachers.
Wendi Kirby
Co-Secretary
Wendi Kirby has been a member of MTAC since 1990. Wendi's studio is located in the heart of Old Monterey and is the home of community events, a concert series, creative workshops, instrumental instruction, and Kindermusik classes. Wendi is a pianist and composer.
Margie Dally
Membership
Margie is a founding member of the Monterey String Quartet and cellist with Ensemble Monterey Bay. She maintains an active teaching studio in Carmel Valley.
Melanie Cervi
Co-Secretary
Melanie joined the Monterey branch after her move back to the area in 2016. She splits her energies between playing the organ, teaching, and tatting lace.
